Cleaning For Effect

Our Work Procedures

Our procedures help us to focus on your project and promote an assurance that the work will be carried out correctly and efficiently.  We will undertake the following as a minimum:

  • Discuss with you the type and extent of the work you wish to have done.  Followed by a site visit to establish the most appropriate and cost effective methods.
  • Measure up and where required take examples of materials to be closely matched.
  • Create a photographic record and maintain it throughout the project.
  • Provide a written fixed priced quotation that includes the Scope of the Work (exactly what we’ve agreed to do for you) and the Specification (how we’ve agreed to do it).  That comes together with our Project Risk Assessment - identifying any Health & Safety matters relating to the proposed work and our Pre-Contract Method Statement - detailing the methods of work we will employ and the controls we will implement to minimise any risk to Health & Safety.
  • Provide you with samples e.g. the level of any cleaning or examples of finished re-pointing beforehand then using the specified materials and equipment carry out the work as agreed.
  • We will monitor the work and invite you to inspect it regularly as it progresses so that you know exactly what's going on and if any changes arise they are brought to your attention immediately.  If you decide to add or leave out anything we will provide you with the effect on costs without delay.
  • Arrange a final meeting with you to ensure the work is completed to your satisfaction and your premises are left clean and tidy.
